Grand River Little League has a mission, to provide the youth of the Waterloo Region with opportunites to develop a sense of community, teamwork, good health and a love of the game of baseball.

The continuity of a program is based on it's principles.  Our guiding principles are based on two very distinct loyalties:

1. The Game.  It was here before we arrived, and will be here after we leave, did we leave it in better shape than we found it.  Our decisions and principles are guided by the question, Is it good for the game?
2. The Players.  For the Players are the game.  Are we developing them, respecting them, treating them fairly and with dignity?

Yogi Berra once said, and it is so true, "this game is simple, it just ain't easy".  Our volunteers and members will aspire to keep it simple, try to make it look easy and always give our best effort.

Grand River Little League is a great summer baseball experience not just for the players and coaches, but all family members.  We  believe families should be involved, and all should benefit.  League play leaves weekends open, the last two weeks of July and the month of August is open.  An emphasis is on Development, Fun and Sense of Team.

A great value, we provide a full uniform to each player at every age group.  There are no sponsors on the jerseys, the shirt is the property of the player and reflects that with MLB authentic logos, New Era hats, pants and match belts are included.  The focus is on quality - uniforms, practices, coaching and experiences.

Little League Baseball is the most respected sports brand for youth in the world.  There are great reasons why Major League Baseball fully endorses LLB, with over 3.4 million players in over 80 countries.  Each year there are so many great memories made, and best practices shared with a community of baseball supporters.  LLB is the greatest baseball family in the world.
