Jackson Soucie has committed to playing double duty in 2021. Jackson will play on both the Flying Squirrels as well as the St. Louis Bandits out of St. Louis, Missouri. The Bandits https://thebandits.org/ are a high level scout team comprised of high school seniors from across North America. Being a part of this team will allow Jackson to be challenged against the best hitters from all over the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada, in tournaments such as the PBR World Series and Perfect Game World Series, among other highly recruited showcase tournaments throughout the USA. Jackson will continue to train and compete with the Flying Squirrels however will travel to tournaments with the Bandits as they are scheduled. This non-traditional path to being recruited is applauded by the Flying Squirrels and takes a tremendous amount of courage, confidence and competitive fire to take this leap forward.
